Good Morning Everyone. Just for information, while at the reunion our checking account went down to $107. After arriving home from the reunion I deposited $5549 (checks and cash) into the Shipmates Account. After paying some bills and the winner of the 50/50, the checking account stands at $3933. Thank you for your time.

Just to keep everyone informed about the USS GALVESTON CLG-3 Shipmates Association financial status, it is as follows: as of 11/3/07 we had $4489 in the checking account. Today 11/04/07, I deposited $1055 (thanks in part to the $400 from the Northern Kentucky Visitors and Convention Bureau), the rest was dues, reunion dinner and clothes orders), which brought our checking account to $5545. As I informed everyone about the 2008 reunion in GA we are paying for the hall for our reunion banquet which came to $1603.80. We made a deposit of $500 already. So we now owe $1103 for the hall. I am going to mail a check for the hall in the amount of $1103 which will still leave the association a balance of $4442, which I feel leave the association checking in good shape. Unless anyone can see why we can't afford this. Any questions, as usual, feel free to contact me.
