Mr. Steven L. Morris, 57, passed away in the care and comfort of East Texas Medical Center Quitman, Texas January 19, 2007. Steven is remembered as a loving husband and a caring father he liked fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Steven was affectionately known as the elevator man. Mr. Morris served his country in the United States Navy. Steven is survived by his loving wife Paulette of Yantis, Tx., and brother Joseph Earl Morris of Houston, Tx., three daughters Kay Kristena Ponder and husband Brian Greer of Yantis,Tx., Stephanie Paulette Morris of Yantis, TX., Magan Lee Cleveland and husband Mike Cleveland of Quitman, Tx. Other survivors include granddaughters Kristena Aleesha Morris, Heather Gail Ponder, Brooke Noelle Ponder, and Shayna Lee Cleveland, and numerous nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
